For the Hebrews in the Old Testament, there was no
more sacred place in Israel than in the Holy of Holies in
the tabernacle of Moses. For hundreds of years, the
Ark of God's Covenant had resided there; His presence
had resided there. But, by the time of King David, the
ark had been lost and even though recovered, it was
never returned to it's place in Moses' tabernacle.
When King David brought the ark into Jerusalem, he
established a new place for God's presence to reside
among His people: the Tabernacle of David. Whereas
in the tabernacle of Moses, the ark had been hidden
away and shrouded in mystery, in David's tent, the ark
was placed in a position freely accessible to every man -
even the Gentiles!

In this series, John explains how in these days, God
has restored the Tabernacle of David for us and how
through Christ, we have been given the most amazing
gift imaginable: free access to the presence of God!.
